1940s Sugar Beet Bucket
Absolutely loving these fabulous galvanised vintage metal buckets. They date back to the 1940s and are from a Sugar Beet factory, each farmer would have a sample of his Sugar beet put in a bucket with his name hidden under the spring-loaded flap and it would go off to be graded, he'd then be paid depending upon the quality and soil content. Due to the fact that they have drainage holes in the bottom they make wonderful planters. Each Bucket is washed, cleaned and waxed, please note no two are the same which adds to their rustic charm.
